Eros Coaching

Eros Coaching

“Eros is the binding element par excellence. It is the bridge between being and becoming, and it binds fact and value together.”   Love & Will, Rollo May

“…if Eros can be revived at all, it has to be through the claim that Eros is a fully articulated way of knowing the world, the ignorance of which has been intellectually crippling…” The Reenchantment Of The World, Morris Berman

If you resonate with the tone of these statements you are likely a seeker into the mystery of deeper states of self-awareness and higher states of consciousness through touch and embodiment.

I am a seasoned coach and bodywork practitioner available as a guide to go beyond the door of everyday experience into the realm of body-mind-spirit integration. I offer my services to those who are interested in re-introducing the intelligence of Eros to their lives.

I’m qualified as a somatic, erotic educator to assist individuals, couples and groups to deepen their experience of embodiment. I’m a trained and California state-certified Sexological Bodywork practitioner. I believe that Eros education is basic for human rights and dignity.  My service in this realm is geared towards experiential learning opportunities that consciously access profound ecstatic and erotic states of knowing.

I work with people of all persuasions, ages, ethnicities, spiritual backgrounds, and orientations to meet and explore in a safe, participatory space. I always work with individuals in valuing intentions and respecting both client and practitioner boundaries. Eros Coaching requires a commitment to a series of 6 to 12 sessions. These sessions often involve one or more modalities such as orgasmic breathing, Taoist Erotic Massage, pelvic relaxation and release work, and mindful masturbation coaching. Sessions often have homework assignments. The focus of the work is to co-design and evaluate specific goals and learning objectives aimed at healthy Eros awareness and the client’s progress towards embodied self-fulfillment.

Some of the areas available for exploration:

  1. Inadequate sexual education from family, religion, school, and health care professionals.
  2. Discovering how sexual shame has damaged self-image, interfered with relationships, or thwarted one’s ability to love.
  3. Playing with pleasure as a powerful and valuable form of education and path to higher states of consciousness.
  4. Engaging states of arousal that can be free of fantasy, unfinished emotional business, religious dogma, and culturally proscribed sexual behaviors.

In this work I am committed to complementing and extending the effectiveness of services offered by psychotherapists and other health care professionals. I value working in close partnership with these professionals but will do so only with client approval. Informed consent from the client must precede all exploration, and professional confidentiality is assured.

My commitment and focus for all sessions are on the client’s experience. In the context of this work I do not act as a surrogate partner.
